haha that explains how fast the time went! I have valued the insights and contemplation's of J.D. Krishnamurti... where I first became aware of Theosophy. Spent many years going back and forth on whether or not Theosophy was part of the esoteric dark side/black magic entities of reality or those exposing and giving us insight into the truth of reality, so yes reading The Hierarchy , should certainly be really interesting.

We're mid-way through S04 of THE SHIELD. I watched first season with my (now ex-)wife, but we quit early in second season when that L.A. gang was torching rivals by putting them in rubber tires and gasoline and setting them ablaze; there were long screaming tortuous sequences of them dying in agony and it really shook her up, she has a fear of dying in a fire (probably from an earlier life; she's an old soul). So I quit there and never came back. THE SHIELD was my dad's favorite show when it was on. It was the only series he bought on DVD, and he had all the seasons. It's funny to think Vic Mackey is also Ben Grimm in those junky FF movies; Walter Goggins first breakout role before JUSTIFIED; CCH Pounder is always convincing, this is probably her best role; just so many good characters. We recently rewatched MOONLIGHTING, or at least the first three season and part of the fourth, and it's exhausting and kinda repetitive when you binge it. It worked much better as a once a week (or once a month!) series. HILL STREET BLUES did not hold up as well as some other shows when I tried to rewatch it; its MTM peer from the same time period ST. ELSEWHERE stands head & shoulders above it IMHO. Both were standard-bearers for quality in their day, for sure. Thank you for your comment!

I don't think it is logical to assume that the Roman Empire was so interested in thwarting or subverting a "theological movement" that they became experts in the Old Testament to the extent that "they" wrote the gospels to fulfill over 570 obscure Old Testament prophesies in the person and work of Jesus Christ. The fact is, Jesus Christ was the Messiah as foretold by all the prophets, as foreshadowed by the faith of Abraham and the (not) sacrifice of Isaac, (Abraham: God will provide the Lamb) And as foreshadowed by the sacrifice of the passover lamb (spotless, blemishless, with no bones broken) with Jesus being the perfect, blameless sacrifice, who, while on the cross, his bones were not broken to hasten death as was done for the thieves on both his flanks. I could go on and on. Jesus was the Messiah, as plainly foretold in scriptures, and recorded by the writers of the New Testament as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. His manifest power is readily apparent by the transformational nature of the gospel through the hearts of men and women individually over the millennia. I am not sure what makes you make it a decade long goal to disprove this fact, but I invite you heartily to turn to Christ in faith, repent of your sins and enjoy the peace that surpasses all understanding. If you do so, hello, and welcome, in Christ the King.
I never set out to disprove anything, FPF. I started researching with the assumption that Jesus was speaking truth and what was done in his name was the fault of translators or later editions. But when I delved deeper into the research, including a decade of attending the conferences of int'l Bible scholars, the evidence showed that it was the origins that supported empire.
Both the OT and gospels were written/ assembled at the same time, 80 CE, after the zealot revolt was crushed by the Roman Empire. There are passages of events from 76 CE written in the gospels as having happened in the past. At the same time the rabbi who 'preserved' the Torah was smuggled out of Jerusalem and begged Caesar to have his scholars saved for this purpose. So both were written with the permission of the Roman Nobility that had just destroyed the revolt for sovereignty that was spreading throughout the Roman colonies.
There is no evidence of physical copies of Hebrew scriptures from before this time. So the prophecies, and the evidence they were fulfilled, could easily have been both written at the same time.
Clearly this is an article of faith for you. But there's a growing number of people who are putting together their research without an agenda other than understanding the truth. As the Gaza genocide shows the Torah to be morally inverted, justifying the most horrific and cruel actions as sanctioned by God, it's not a neutral question. Oh you're both ahead of me! Although I've read much of Frances' work, I was kicking myself that it took so long for me to listen to that interview. There was not a wasted word and it put the whole picture into perspective in a way I hadn't grasped before.
In particular, that we're dealing with a diaspora empire (my words but I think Frances would agree), an empire without borders. And that the centers of power are the three autonomous regions of The City of London for financial power, the Vatican for ideology, and DC for the military.

I never set out to disprove anything, FPF. I started researching with the assumption that Jesus was speaking truth and what was done in his name was the fault of translators or later editions. But when I delved deeper into the research, including a decade of attending the conferences of int'l Bible scholars, the evidence showed that it was the origins that supported empire.
Both the OT and gospels were written/ assembled at the same time, 80 CE, after the zealot revolt was crushed by the Roman Empire. There are passages of events from 76 CE written in the gospels as having happened in the past. At the same time the rabbi who 'preserved' the Torah was smuggled out of Jerusalem and begged Caesar to have his scholars saved for this purpose. So both were written with the permission of the Roman Nobility that had just destroyed the revolt for sovereignty that was spreading throughout the Roman colonies.
There is no evidence of physical copies of Hebrew scriptures from before this time. So the prophecies, and the evidence they were fulfilled, could easily have been both written at the same time.
Clearly this is an article of faith for you. But there's a growing number of people who are putting together their research without an agenda other than understanding the truth. As the Gaza genocide shows the Torah to be morally inverted, justifying the most horrific and cruel actions as sanctioned by God, it's not a neutral question. Oh you're both ahead of me! Although I've read much of Frances' work, I was kicking myself that it took so long for me to listen to that interview. There was not a wasted word and it put the whole picture into perspective in a way I hadn't grasped before.
In particular, that we're dealing with a diaspora empire (my words but I think Frances would agree), an empire without borders. And that the centers of power are the three autonomous regions of The City of London for financial power, the Vatican for ideology, and DC for the military.
