“CIAmazon and its crazed short bald wonky eyeball Blofeld-ian CEO and recently humiliated tripped-over-his-own-feet-and-faceplanted cock-rocket pimp Jeff Bezos.”

This should be the definition of Jeff Bezos when you look him up in the dictionary. I would like to see a dictionary filled with all the popular and “so-called”important people in the world with definitions next to their names created by you, Tom. You’re the best.

Very interesting stuff! I recognize the covers of a couple of the books from my parents bookshelves. The erasure of history is disconcerting, I very much understand the quote about hope that was deleted. It reminded me of an old twilight zone episode where a man’s hell was been forever in a room where unknown dorky people watched and narrated their insidiously boring family vacation 9mm tapes for eternity. Talk about no hope. I also really liked the Tolkien themed photos, Always my favorites and very appropriate.

Yes, they are vaporizing much of past history, or rewriting it in the internet age. Stories on digital newspapers are stealth-edited to clean up mistakes. Thank you for your comment!

Wait - there was a Mannequin 2?????

Expand full comment
TOM SIEBERT's avatar

Yes! Almost nobody returned for the sequel but Meshach Taylor as "flamboyant window dresser Hollywood Montrose." The new mannequin was played by Kristie Swanson, who I personally find more attractive than Kim Catrrell.

The old joke in Holly Wood in the late 80s, whenever somebody was pitching a script and somebody would say "That sounds unbelievably stupid and nobody would pay to see it," somebody else would always pipe up: "Remember MANNEQUIN!" Thank you for your comment!

Only one reason to watch Mannequin: James Spader's bravura performance is mind-blowing. He disappears into character so well he dodged any negative criticism one could ever hold against him in that pile of crap -- he's great in spite of lameness. It's up there with Gary Oldman in True Romance!

I saw it when it came out, I was probably high, don't even remember James Spader being in it, or much anything else about it for that matter, other than it being terrible and that Meshach Taylor role would never fly today.

But I agree that Spader is a fantastic, magnetic actor. He made it reasonably big, but he deserved to be even bigger.

I remember when he popped up in an episode of Seinfeld and I thought, "What the Hell happened here? Isn't he too big for this show?" Seems like something happened around this time because he wasn't in any movies for a while.

SEINFELD (and Seinfeld) nabbed a lot of big stars when it was the #1 show on television.

Ackshully, now that I see the Wikipedia entry, it seems Spader and Seinfeld were friends, and Spader had worked with Jason Alexander on the film WHITE PALACE, which I saw and remember even less about than MANNEQUIN.

It seemed like a step down at the time and happened during his decline. I don't remember any other big stars on Seinfeld, aside from Bette Midler, who was playing herself. Yes, Peter Stormare was in an episode, but he was an unknown quantity at the time. I still believe Bryan Cranston is a no-talent PsyOp like Jon Stewart, and both were seeded into pop culture with NBC's help like Joe Rogan.

Not enough likes, not enough readers. I wish I could help fix it, but I don’t personally know a soul who would enjoy the delivery excepting me. Makes me feel like I lead an incomplete life.

Curious to hear your take on the “pope” “dying” on Easter / during Season of Sacrifice.

Expand full comment
TOM SIEBERT's avatar

I think he was dead for a while and the announcement was held back until the day after Easter for symbolic reasons. He'd not been looking like himself for a while, and I'm amazed they let him sit in state with that huge purple bruise on his face, like they wanted us to see it. Not a rabbit hole I'm going to much go down, but I don't believe the Official Story™, no. Thank you for your comment!

The fake Blue Orion rocket farce shows how successful the propaganda has been. (As does Space-X, 9-11, and so on, etc. etc.)

Hollyweird has done its job well, even if it’s ready to be put down for good. The mental gymnastics required to stay part of this system have got to be soul destroying.

Thanks for spitting on it!

I'm really thinking that perhaps the only answer is a dedicated, concentrated effort to kill Holly Wood. It's really starting to feel like it's Them or Us.

MacKenzie Scott and Lauren Sanchez are transwomen.

Expand full comment
TOM SIEBERT's avatar

I had to look up MacKenzie Scott to be reminded. The photo of Lauren Sanchez that accompanies this piece would suggest that she was indeed a woman in the late 1980s. You'd have better luck convincing me Katy Perry is the secret third sister of Emily & Zooey Deschanel (as others have claimed).

All these trans-claims of celebs is a tough sell to me, but I could be wrong. I've not been cynical enough about how f'd up everything is in the past, and they do seem to take great sickness/pleasure in lying about everything, so who knows. Thank you for your comment!
